After becoming a Pacific region winner in July 2022, Hamed was put forward for the national award and announced as a winner in November 2022.Â

WELL Health’s Founder, Chairman and CEO, Hamed Shahbazi, has 20+ years of experience as a tech-focused operator.Â
In 1997, Hamed founded TIO Networks (TSXV: TNC), a kiosk solution provider, before transitioning TIO into a multi-channel payment solution provider specializing in bill payment and other financial services. In July 2017, PayPal (NASDAQ: PYPL) acquired TIO Networks for CAD$304 million. After the TIO Networks sale, Hamed founded WELL Health Technologies Corp in 2018.
